We are currently recruiting new members in all our branches. |
|

Seagoing, shore support, training, engineering, historic vessels - whatever your interest may be. It doesn’t matter to us if you are an experienced sailor or a complete novice, you will be made very welcome. |

If you’re interested in any aspect of our activities come aboard and have a chat.

First find your 300 tons of bright red ship, the rest is easy. We’re below decks, probably eating chocolate biscuits. You’ll be made welcome.

We are involved in every aspect of running an active seagoing unit and the range of activities that are essential to our survival means that we can find ourselves fundraising for Red nose Day one weekend, and hauling a 7 ton boat out of the water for a complete refit the next.
The degree of personal involvement in Tay MVS is entirely up to the individual member.

This was taken during Badger’s last refit at Newport slip (The old Fifie terminal - now “David Anderson’s Marine” - Yamaha Outboard agents and everything else too)

Come along on Thursday evening any time between 7.30 - 9.00 or on a Sunday afternoon, have a chat, look round the North Carr and sit in on a training session if you like. There’s no pressure to join anyway - most of our regular members came along quite a few times like this and just enjoyed the company as well as what was going on ashore and afloat.

Click this link for to e-mail for more info on coming along, ask any questions you like, or phone -- Bob Richmond on 01382 542516.
