Badger; Broughty Ferry Harbour, Powerboat 2 assesment - Donald grills Greg while the others get a temporary respite. Jim however, has other things on his mind - but what exactly?

No, not the last admiral to leave the slipway - this is a Bearded Seal photographed on the slip at David Anderson Marine Boatyard, Newport.

|
It's supposed to be in Arctic waters, far from the Tay, it's very unusual to see one so far South and we can only hope it survives. A bearded seal was recorded in Japan, thriving in the coastal stretches of a river for some years so it is possible.

Here they are - the boatyard swans. 6 eggs now -she was turning them over when this was taken. The dreadful threats to peck our legs have become pretty half hearted as they both get used to us walking past.
That said, one of them attacked Badger today as she came alongside.
"Swan bites Boat"?

Possibly not the brightest of critters but in spite of their laid back attitude to humanity, they did all right last year with six cygnets from a nest on the other side of the slipway where the mobile crane parks for the night

The first passenger carrying trip of the year after the refits. Badger leaves Broughty Harbour first

Marigot's next to leave.
